Joanne Hames
​
Joanne has been practicing as a Physiotherapist since 2008 following completion of a BSC Sports Therapy and Masters of Physiotherapy from Teesside University, UK. she completed her Australian Physiotherapy Council conversion examinations in 2010.
​
She has worked in a diverse range of Physiotherapy areas for many years in various Hospitals, private practices and the community. She also worked as a Senior Physiotherapist in both Neurological and Geriatric Rehabilitation as well as Dementia care at the Gold Coast University hospital.

Joanne has over 15 years of well-rounded evidence-based Physiotherapy experience in Orthopaedic, Musculoskeletal, Cardio respiratory, Vestibular, and Surgical care both in the hospital and community. Some examples of conditions include; Stroke, Brain injury, Parkinson's Disease, Dementia and Geriatric syndromes, Amputee management, BPPV, progressive neurological disorders, Spinal cord injuries., post operative shoulder, hip, knee surgery, and musculoskeletal injuries.

Joanne prides herself on integrity and is passionate about helping others achieve their goals and improving their quality of life. She attends courses frequently to ensure that she is practicing with the most recent evidence-based knowledge.

In her spare time, she likes hiking to waterfalls, swimming, and spending time with her children.
